Customer withdrew over $10,000 from his account with the intention of making a purchase, returned later in the day and deposited back to the account over $10,000 - would we just do one CTR for a withdrawal and a deposit for the amounts he withdrew and deposited

You can complete a single CTR and list the applicable dollar amounts on the 'in' side and the 'out' side of Item 25.

If the redeposit of the funds occurs after cutoff and will appear on the next day's business, you will have to file the "out" CTR separately from the "back in" CTR.
