Our ATM Dept was asking this question:
A check deposited through our ATM to another bank's account. The ATM is remotely located and is not settled daily (possibly every 3-5 days). If a check is discovered that needs to be returned (missing signature, stop payment etc). is there a time limit for it? Do the regulations cover remote ATM settlements?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
