is this acceptable?

They are doing on their port product, but is this acceptable? Besides convenience for customer and being a PITA for the lender just wondering if there are other issues that could arise down the road.

Appreciate anything you have to offer.

State real estate law question. In Texas, you would need two deeds of trust if the properties are not in the same county. But even if they were in the same county, it would still create valid liens.
