Earlier this year I saw a movie preview several times, but have not seen anything about the movie since. I had World War II era aircraft, a woman with an eyepatch, and alien space craft. It seemed to be filmed in a very film noirish style. Does anyone know what this movie is?

Can't remember the name either - it stars Jude Law, Gwenyth Paltrow and Angelina Jolie. I saw a trailer for it with the Bourne Supremacy (still have motion sickness from that one!), and I think the release date they said was pretty soon.

Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow (website). Can't say that it looks like an Oscar-contender, but that's just my opinion.

I went with a group of friends. We had plans for dinner afterward. We all just went home to recuperate instead! If I'd known, I would have taken some Dramamine!!

Film was made entirely with "blue screen", with everything but the main characters computer generated.

Supposed to be released September 17. Supposed to be great visually.
