If bank offers a feature in which customer can arrange to auto debit their checking account to fund a non affiliated card when there is a specified low balance and the bank ends the feature, I assume an advance notice is required - true? 21 days?

What is a non-affiliated card? And would not the agreement be with the non-affiliated card issuer and not the bank. How would you know the balance on the card?
