We have a client who has a different flood zone on their policy vs what FEMA has them listed in. Its a school, so there are 2 modulars & 1 primary large building all within the same flood zone, located right next to each other. We received a flood zone notice change, the Agency updated the polices for the 2 modular buildings, but have not done so for the primary building. When I called the Agent they said we have coverage shouldn't matter, I explain it had to match etc. They stated they would need to order a elevation cert and it would be 2 weeks.
Now 2 weeks have gone by, I followed up and they said they just ordered today and it would be 2 weeks.

What do you all do if an agent/ins company wont update the zone, or in this case drags their feet? Just document it and move on? Its odd that they updated the modulars but not the primary building. I even sent them the FEMA map showing its all AE. Thoughts?

To clarify, the building does have coverage, for Zone B. But it needs to show for Zone AE.

For right now read FAQ 71 & 72 https://www.bankersonline.com/sites/default/files/tools/flood_faq_2011_10_17.pdf

Once the new proposed FAQs are approved, zone mismatches are no longer a lender issues,
