We've seen a couple of these customer printed checks or e-checks, where a customer gets a rebate or some other type of payment emailed to them. The customer prints it out and uses RDC or brings it to the teller line to negotiate. It's just a plain piece of paper with a check image printed on it. Anyone care to share any special procedures they use to accept these checks? They're only going to become more prevalent as time goes on and the potential for fraud is huge. It's a little scary to accept them! Thanks.

Consider that they really aren't any "scarier" than accepted RDC or mRDC (mobile-deposited) images.
