I feel really dumb for having to ask this question at this point in my career, but I'm stuck in a loop of overthinking and can't get out. This is the scenario: Two individuals come in together and both sign to withdraw $15,000 in cash from their joint account. So both conducted the transaction and both will benefit from it. How many Part I entries will we have? Due to the multiple roles will each person have a 2a, 2b, and 2c page or is it a lot simpler than that? Thanks in advance.

You have two individuals that conducted a transaction on their own behalf.

So since it was just one transaction with one amount of currency it isn't considered having multiple roles and multiple Part I pages aren't needed? This is what I'm hung up on since the FAQs changed.

If two people are conducting a transaction on a joint account, what other choices are there?

If the two individuals each did separate cash deposit transactions in their joint account, you would have four part 1 sections.

A as conductor on own behalf (2a and 3 checked)
B as person on whose behalf (2c and 3 checked)
B as conductor on own behalf (2a and 3 checked)
A as person on whose behalf (2c and 3 checked)

But when there's only one transaction co-conducted, just two part 1 sections.
A with 2a checked
B with 2a checked
