I need some RESPA assistance. As a Commercial bank, we do not make consumer mortgages, but I have a commercial loan that I think may be subject to RESPA, and need some assistance:
1) Property is a unit in a residential condominium
2) Property is owned by a LLC
3) The unit was original purchased for the temporary use of the son of the LLC owner.
4) Son has moved out and the LLC is now renting the unit on the market
5) We are refinancing the original condominium loan, is it subject to RESPA. From what I understand, the original loan was not classified as loan subject to RESPA.
