How are you handling the dating of the Beneficial Ownership form? We've had issues where the date on the form is dated after the account opening. In some instances, the account is "opened" on the system but a deposit has not yet been made -- other times the form is simply returned a few days/weeks later but the account was opened with a deposit.

Is anyone else running into this?

Yes, consistently. We make our front line get a new form. They have got into a bad habit of uploading accounts to the core before they receive all of the customer's documents. We continue to stress not uploading accounts until CIP is completed. We are exploring making BSA a performance measure for all frontline employees. Most platforms allow CSRs to save their work and not upload it until they receive documents but they do it anyway. It's one of my pet peeves. The customer is attesting to the accuracy of their ownership the day the date the account is opened, I want to form dated accurately.
