Can anyone share if they have ever received CRA consideration for donations that recruits, trains and supervises CASA volunteers? We are regulated by the FDIC and in the past, they have never given us credit for these types of donations because they don't directly target/benefit LMI?
Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

We asked the director of our local CASA for a letter stating that a majority of the children that are appointed an advocate come from low income households. The director estimated approximately 80% are LMI, so we've gotten credit for donations and service hours for employees that are on the board. We are FDIC as well.

We have absolutely gotten credit for donations to CASA. Our OCC exam team did not require a letter regarding the LMI status of children in foster care. I bet the director would happily write a letter similar to what TMatt described.

We have not gotten credit for CASA by the FDIC; however, we did not present the level of documentation that TMatt87 did. If we would have been able to get more information I think they would have given us credit.
