Do the same rules apply to force-placement of hazard insurance on commercial loans--ex: mortgaged property that has been sold on a land contract, or a rental home? Trying to find in the regulations.

On business purpose loans? No - not at the Federal level and I cannot imagine State laws would require anything special. It would be a contractual issue.
