A bank MSB customer failed to meet the 12/31/21 deadline for renewing their MSB registration.

Submitted MSB registration renewal on 1/5/22. Bank has documentation.

Should bank file a SAR?

I had the same thing come up and emailed FinCEN. Got a call back and was told that as long as they renewed in a timely manner, a SAR was not required.
