Wondering if anyone has examples of specific "innovative and/or complex investments to support CD initiatives"?
My recent FDIC exam listed the Investment Test as High Sat, but then said we rarely uses innovated initiatives.
What we do is the typical: LIHTC, investments with a couple of CDFIs, investment with an Angel Fund (sort of venture capital), purchase state tax credits the benefit CD activities and provide rent-free space to a LMI housing program (valued at about $60k a year).
I'm happy with the High Sat, but am greedy and want more!! SO who has had innovated examples called out in their exams?
