Ok...official complaint about the app....I just whiffed (obviously) on the word "Iraqi"...I thought it went without saying on these word games that proper nouns were a no no, but evidently not.

At about level 100 or so, the app becomes 6 letter wordle, which is much tougher.

Since this app came out I wonder what raitchjay's productivity level at?

I just looked at mine....try searching for something like "wordle--6 tries 1 word". It has that moniker on it.

Correct. But it lets you play more than one game a day, with multiple formats. But it is still a knockoff.

I don't guess i see the issue......since the NYT didn't invent Wordle and this app follows the rules of Wordle.

The app is totally different. I did the same thing and downloaded it until someone told me "real" Wordle was only online. I like both and play both.

I read an article the other day that there are actually 2 word lists for Wordle right now. There is the original list from the creator of the game and a new list from the NYT. People are being moved to the NYT website, sometimes automatically, but anyone who is still on the original website is getting a different word.

This has been gnawing at me as well.....i feel like i played "wordle" (not called that at the time) a longggg time ago somewhere. When this thread was created and i clicked on that link, i immediately had the feeling/knowledge/remembrance that i had played this game already before. As for the word list...i don't get it. I feel like anyone with average intelligence can grab a dictionary or just scroll through their brain for challenging 5 letter words.

this can't be true, because the other day i had the word "shake", and several people i work with would find it insensitive if they knew that is how their body looks when they walk...

Today was hard for me - took me 6 tries.
