We are new to CRA data reporting and trying to figure out what is meant by the word "purchase"? For example the reg uses the phrase in 228.42(a) "small farm or small business loans originated or purchased by the bank". Any specific guidance would be appreciated.

You mean other than you bought a loan from another creditor? I guess I am confused.
