I have found several differences between the 2022 FFIEC Census Tracts and the Laser-Pro geocoding tool, GeoPro. For 2022, there appears to be multiple census tract revisions in the FFIEC software. I reached out to the Laser-Pro vendor and they said some other Banks were having the same problem with the 2022 FFIEC Census Tracts and their software. As a result, a new GeoPro update was released.

If anyone else has experienced this issue, could you validate the FFIEC census tracts were revised in 2022 for their assessment area after the 2020 census?

I ran into a similar issue with the FFIEC Geo-coding site.

When scrubbing I kept coming up with different track numbers than what was being reported. After a closer look the site was defaulting to 2022. When I changed it back to 2021 all my mis-matches matched.

Dan, thank you, that's how I also initially detected mis-matched records was through my 2021 HMDA scrub.

We run our monthly LAR through the CFPB Beta site to check for validity and quality edits. For June 2022 we got 29 validity edits on Census Tract. Out of curiosity, we ran May through again and got validity edits on Census tract where we didn't get them 1st of June. Anyone else running into this? What could be causing it?
