Can you help me understand? Is it also "no", because the standard flood insurance policy limit for the building is for the actual physical damage/replacement of the building and the ICC is to comply with building codes and floodplain ordinances? I have looked absolutely everywhere and this post is the only thing that I have found that even addresses this issue. I can't find anything else that says whether it IS or ISN'T to be used to determine the adequate amount of flood insurance. I also find it confusing that the maximum amount collectible if you have Standard Flood Insurance Policy and an ICC is either the $250,000 on residential or $500,000 on commercial. The ICC isn't in addition to the $250,000 or $500,000. Please clarify? Thank you!
