If we were to combine two existing account types into one, we'd be required to notify affected customers in advance of this change and provide an updated TISA as well, correct?

You mean notifying people that are already in that account type? No notice would be required unless you are changing the name of their account, if you usually refer to it by a name in future change of term notices or the terms of their account are changing.
