Would you file a New SAR or a continuation SAR if the activity ceased during the time a 90 day time frame, but picked up again a couple of months later?
Example: 1st SAR 12/10/21 with no continued activity until 5/1/22, on 5/9/22 decision was made that a SAR would be required. Would you do a new report and reference the other SAR filed since it is outside the 90 day window?

We would file a new SAR and reference the old SAR(s).

I would do a new report and reference the previous report since it is past the 90 day lookback.

Thank you! My gut thought but needed some reassurance I was thinking correctly.
