Customers can participant in our P2P type product by having a bank-issued debit card and access to online banking. Our P2P product is available by using our app or mobile browser. Customers must enter their debit card number to conduct the transaction. Should these types of transfers have a NACHA SEC Code of WEB? Is it the manner of enrollment for an ACH product that governs the SEC code used?

If they are using their debit card, wouldn't the transaction be processed through Visa/Mastercard networks? I would expect that it would appear as point of sale if it is not being routed through the NACHA network.

Yes, debit card must be used and is processed through MC, currently shows as POS, but I was second-guessing myself that WEB should possibly be used instead. In reading your response and thinking this through, this doesn't hit the NACHA network, so POS seems to be correct. Thanks for helping me think through this BrianC.
