We are looking for documentation on the values that are expected in address fields for foreign address per Metro 2. We have the file specifications, positions and character limitations, but are seeking information on what is expected in those fields for foreign addresses.

If they do not have a US address, would you not just enter the address that they give you as their mailing address? Where are you going to be mailing any required notices?

I am confused as to what guidance you are needing ? You might need to be more specific since apparently no one else responded either.

Metro 2 specs include the naming of fields, character length and alpha/numeric information. For international addresses, it appears that the credit reporting agencies have requirements of what information is expect in those fields. For example, Equifax has a error code Last Line Missing or Bad. We are looking for guidance on what those expectations are.

Then why are you not on the phone with your Equifax representative? If it is not in the Metro 2 guide, I am not aware of any other official guidance documents.
