We have a fee sheet from the attorney that we use to quote attorney fees on the Loan Estimates. We received the attorney's invoice and they went up $75 on a service. Will we have to eat the fee since nothing in the transaction caused the increase fee?
What was the change in total fees in the bucket that the $75.00 increase shows up in compared to the total of that bucket on the initial LE? Or was this a zero percent tolerance item?
First, didn't your bank get notified of the fee increase? If not, I'd talk to the attorney about not charging it on this one. Second, this is why you have to periodically reach out and review fees with all vendors you have on your SSPL.
