I've been in Compliance for sometime but have admittedly absent in the world of BSA because we have a dedicated BSA Officer. If I want to strengthen that skill and become proficient, what are some resources (training?) I should start with and progress through?

Pull out the examination manual and read that first. That is the cheapest place to start. Then look for available seminars, conferences or a local compliance officer or ACAMS organization.
