Hey all,

Hopefully an easy question. We are training a new employee and they duplicated a SAR filing 3 times. I combed over FinCEN's website and I only see instructions for remedying duplicate CTRs, not SARs. Any guidance out there?

If you contact FinCEN right away (BSAEFilingHelp@fincen.gov), they might be able to delete the filing from the system.

There is no method for surpressing multiple SARs. Bottom line, there is nothing more that you can do other than to amend your training process so this doesn't happen in the future.
