Can someone share a source where I can find information in regards to fees for consumer loans in Texas? We have a CD secured loan for $13k, used for home improvement purposes and we waived the doc prep fee of $100. Im new with Texas on the non mortgage side so I wanted to see if there are any differences I need to be aware of. Thanks!

You might check out IBAT's chart located https://ibat.org/compliance/. Scroll down to Compliance Resources and select the Consumer Credit Late Charges and Fees chart.

I am not sure what you are asking. Can you charge a $100 doc prep fee or can you waive the fee? Either one is going to be a business decision.
