just curious what if anything this law did to change any of your bank's policy and risk assessment? did your city/town put in place a temporary moratorium on the issue?
is this a non-issue?

As Minnesota's program continues to evolve, you should have a conversation internally about whether or not you will bank these cannabis businesses. Based on the law, there may be growers in the state who are growing both hemp and marijuana for the beverages and edibles that were approved.

The recent governor signature will put in place an adult use program in about 12 months or so. Even more reason to have a discussion about what. your institution is comfortable with and to get a policy in place so that your team knows how to handle the requests as they come in.

Examiners generally don't care whether you do or you don't, but what they do care is that you've made an intentional decision about it, and that you've got the right policies, procedures and tools to enforce your decision.
