In all my department moves, I have lost something! Ugh! I used to have a list that indicated the prefix to EINs and the state that issued them. For example, it indicates that number beginning with 95 and 33 were issued in CA.

Does anyone know of an on-line source with this information? I have tried to do a search in the forum, but we have so many users that it will take me too much time to read all the various posts.

When at the Reply Screen, click on the "UBBCode in your posts" just under the green border to see the codes available.

For a link you'll use brackets and url as in [ url ]http:yada yada yada[ /url ]. I inserted extra spaces at the brackets to show the codes. Normally you would tighten these up.

Dolly--I seem to recall that this changed a short while back. I don't think they issue EINs with the state prefix anymore. (It's been a long year already, so I could be suffering from Sometimer's!)

Recognize that you are responding to a post that is nearly 3 years old. An advertiser tried to resurrect the thread with a plug for their product. That post was removed, but we still see it as an new active thread because of the activity.
