We have a residential property that does not have a 1/4 family dwelling on it, but it has a structure on it. The structure can not be used as a residence. Would the detached structure rule apply to this loan?

Also if we have a 1/4 family dwelling that is rental property would the detached structure rule apply?

If it does not have a residential structure located on the property then how can it be a residential property? Go to 339.2 and look up the definition for Residential improved real estate..

Again look up the definition for residential improved real estate in 339.2.
