Its that time of year again. I'm wondering what each of you use to perform the annual ACH audit? Do you use just Appendix Eight from the Rules Book, purchase the full blown Nacha ACH audit or use some other ACH audit? I would greatly appreciate your input. Thanks!

Yes, we do the yearly audit and complete by 12-1 each year. Its then part of the board report.

We order the audit workbook through SWACHTA.
Its gives item by item and where located in regs. I'm sure
there are others just as good, but so far no problem.
thanks

I think auditnet.org has an ACH audit program. (It's free!)

I did see the one on Auditnet but it doesn't look like its been updated recently, however, I do like the free aspect. With all the changes in early 2003, I want to make sure I cover all critical areas of ACH.

We use the Self-Audit Survival Guide for ACH Rules Compliance each year. I think I am going to shake things up a bit and order the ACH Audit book that is available. Does anyone know if they have the same information? I wouldn't want to spend the money if they are the same.

I purchased the ACH Audit Workbook from NACHA for $75.00. Best $75.00 I ever spent. It spells everything out in black and white and provides worksheets to conduct the audit.

Thanks Sarah, that is what I was hoping for. I have created some of my own worksheets with information received at different seminars, but don't really have the time to make sure they are up to date this year.

Kiwi you are welcome. The ACH Audit was a bit overwhelming for me and the NACHA worksheets were a Godsend.

Is there a web site I can go to order the audit workbook? I have one from about four years ago so I'm assuming I need an updated one.

You may also want to check with your regional ACH Association or ACH contact to see if your institution has already received a copy of the current Self Audit Guide or if one is available for download to Association members.
