since the demos will never respond to this, I'll play devil's advocate for a moment...
144,000 new jobs created in August - that is okay, but Bush is personally responsible for the loss of 6 million jobs in the past 3 years. John Kerry will deliver 10,000,000 new jobs when he is president, and Bush is happy with just 144,000?
Jobless rate is 5.4 percent, the lowest in 3 years - yeah, but it was lower when Clinton was president. John Kerry is going to create 10,000,000 new jobs, and the unemployment rate wil be zero.
A grassroots AOL poll has Bush leadign in all 50 states - well, AOL is owned by Time-Warner, and they support republican issues. I'm sure the poll is not accurate. John Kerry is going to create 10,000,000 jobs when he is elected prsident, and then I'm sure those poll numbers will be reflected correctly.
Okay, I did my best...

Wouldn't an AOL user poll have tainted results, since internet usage is positively correlated to income, which is correlated to higher percentage of Republicans.
Now, why is that?

mfc9 - please note that I was playing devil's advocate only. John Kerry has made the promise of 10,000,000 more jobs in several speeches, including his acceptance speech at the DNC. He has yet to say how he would do that, under the guise of "If I deliver my plan, my opponent will take it and make it his." I translate this to actually mean "I have no idea how to create any jobs, but when I throw out this huge number, all of my supporters cheer like crazy."

Totally agree!!! He has NO plan. It's such nonsense. Such lies. And the thing is so many will fall for it.
