Vote for your 8 favorite Beatles songs that weren't number 1 hits. If I left out your favorite, it probably is not a well known song. Sorry!

Who sang the song "P.S. I love you" and "Bus stop, bus goes, she stays love grows, under my umbrella"? Was it the Beatles?

Bus stop was the Hollies, I think the Beatles did the other one but wouldn't swear to it.

Oh! Darling

What about the suite of songs on side two of Abby Road:

Mean Mr. Mustard/Polythene Pam/She Came In Through the Bathroom Window/Golden Slumbers/

Here are some well-know songs recorded by the Beatles. Some are better known by other artists and probably why they were left off, but their are some that Lennon McCartney wrote that probably should have been on the list. I put an asterisk by the Lennon McCartney songs.

Twist And Shout-written by Russell

*You Can't Do That (I think this was on the list)

*I Wanna Be Your Man

*I Call Your Name

Boys Dixon-written by Farrell

Long Tall Sally--written by Johnson-Penniman-Blackwell

Rock 'n' Roll Music--written by Chuck Berry

Slow Down--written by Williams

Long Tall Sally--not written by the Beatles

Kansas City/Hey Hey Hey written by Lieber-Stoller

Money (That's What I Want) written byBradford-Gordy Jnr.

Matchbox--written by Carl Perkins

Long Tall Sally--not written by the Beatles

Roll Over Beethoven--writtern by Chuck Berry

Dizzy Miss Lizzy--written by someone with the last name Williams

*Anytime At All

Everybody's Trying To Be My Baby actually a Carl Perkins song

*The Night Before

*I'm Down

*Hey Bulldog

Hey, Long Tall Sally wasn't supposed to be on there 3 times, but as an anon, I can't edit it.

None of that material ever got the respect it so richly deserved.

Another favorite of mine: Everybody's Trying to Be My Baby, but I don't think Lennon/McCartney wrote it.

Bela Fleck and the Flecktones do an amazing version of "Oh, Darling."
