FCRA Section 609(g) "Disclosure of Credit Scores by Certain Mortgage Lenders" states that besides the 'Notice to Home Loan Applicants'[Sec (D)], the "lender" is to provide
"(i) a copy of the information identified in subsection (f) that WAS OBTAINED FROM A CONSUMER REPORTING AGENCY."

Since subsection (f) refers to the five items needing to be disclosed to the consumer when they request their credit scores from a CRA (credit score, range of possible scores, the 4 key factors, date of scores, and name of entity) and (i) above says that the info 'was obtained from a CRA', why do I see messages about lenders trying to find key factors, credit score ranges, etc,? If the CRAs are supposed to supply that info to lenders, again per (i) above, why are people looking for it? AND, if that isn't the way it's supposed to be, then WHAT CRA INFO is (i) referring to ?

I just can't seem to figure this one out !
