Becca, glad you are feeling better. And I am glad Natalie is doing better too. Just think, she will soon be up and running around and you will be worn out from trying to keep up with her.

Becca, thanks for the personal update! I am so glad you feeling better. I am very excited to learn that Natalie's liver is testing "normal". How awesome is that? I will continue to keep all of you in my prayers.

Becca thanks for the quick visit! We're so glad to hear good news.

Transplants are complicated things. When my friend had her stem cell harvest for transplant she was given too much heparin and it caused a terrible bleed...scaring the life out of us as much as her. Her incisions at the neck and the wrist just wouldn't stop and we had to rush her back in, but just as with little Natalie, it stopped after the drug was out of her system. Scary!!! But curable fortunately I hope this is teh case with little bear because that means it won't be a problem again.

We're sending love and prayers from all over for bear and her family!!! You all are hero's in our books!!!

We go back in for surgery today - planned (around 1pm).

She has been "open" since Saturday and I think that they are going to try to close her up today. Please pray! The last time they did this she developed a clot in her hepatic artery due to too much pressure.

I have never submitted a prayer online before. I've read this entire thread and I'm very moved by the courage and faith that is demonstrated here. Momofnataliebear, I will say a prayer for you and your daughter. I don't have your depth of spiritual strenghth but I want to help in any small measure that I can. Please, God, help this woman and her child.

Natalie is still doing well. They didn't completely close her completely on Friday, but did stretch her a bit and the incision isn't as open. she's responding well to this and her liver numbers are staying great - Some were even normal They are starting to wean her from the respirator and she is doing even more breathing on her own. They're going to start giving Natalie some formula through her NG tube through her nose rather than through her IV. This is progress. Hopefully, if all continues well, on Tuesday they will take her back to surgery to try to close her completely.
