Looking for seminars sometime this year on how to prepare final documents for a mortgage loan- the new HMDA rules- RESPA and TIL.

If anyone knows of anything let me know---and to preface, there has been nothing helpful show up from TBA, ABA, or IBAT.

What part of the country are you located?

I recognize those acronyms! That would be Texas Bankers Association and Independent Bankers Association of Texas. I haven't seen anything yet - but you might check on those Kirchman seminars! They're getting rave reviews in another thread.

I'm certain that as we approach the year end, there will be lots of seminars coming down the road with all the changes we'll be facing on data collection for HMDA, CIP for 326, the USA PATRIOT Act in general because it reaches so far and in so many directions.

I would watch the calendar here on BOL as well as the IBAT and TBA sites. Kirchman has a good product. I have some of their tapes, but haven't attended their seminars. When I spoke to them on the phone they were always knowledgeable or said they'd look it up and call back. And they did.

Professional Bank Services offers HMDA and RESPA specific seminars. You just missed some in June in Texas, but there is one coming up on August 7th! RESPA seminars are in December in Texas. I've attended these before and rank them right up there with Kirchman.
