I am looking for some guidance on auditing NDIP. What is everybody doing? Do you outsource, or do you do this in-house? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

There is a decent audit program on the FDIC's web-site. Look under Examinations/ED Modules/Supplemental. I am a former FDIC examiner (S&S) who now functions as a bank compliance auditor. I try to use the FDIC modules when I can for my audits. They are generally pretty thorough and the regulators certainly can't fault their use!
