I see that the reason that BofA got hit on their latest class action lawsuit is that they violated California state law that prohibited using SSI benefits to cover overdrafts and account fees. I don't believe that Iowa has any laws to this effect but wanted to check with my fellow Iowan's to confirm. Thanks, Sheryl

Once again the courts have stepped up to protect....no one! I don't see this as an Iowa problem yet. The changes in our representation in Des Moines may make this an issue in the future. Let us hope that reason prevails.
