One of our bureau reps said that at CDIA training they were told that the FTC was going to postpone this effective date for a short time and that all users would be receiving notification. Has anyone heard anything about this?

I heard at a recent ABA (American Bar Asso) FACTA seminar that an interagency statement was forthcoming. This was from the counsel to the Fed (who first stated his opinion was his own yada, yada) and he said that it could take several weeks...that they had only been receiving requests for the previous week or two. This was back on October 12th.
I have also had FDIC banks tell me that their examiners said an FIL from the FDIC postponing the implementation date was in the works.
So, may I start the betting now??? My money is on November 29th!!!
