The other day my kids thought I was a genius! The microwave broke and we were getting ready to watch some DVDs... The kids whined "Not fair, we can't have popcorn!" I pull out a pot, tore open the bag of unpopped microwave popcorn and put it on the burner. You should have seen the look on my kids' faces when they heard the popping.

That brings back some college memories. Fuzzy memories, but memories nonetheless.

Watermelon Tango - used to buy a plain slush at the Tastee-Freeze and pour Watermelon Tango over it and cruise the strip. Now, in 1974 - I was only 2, but I do remember Watermelon Tango and Mad Dog 20/20! How about Purple Passion?

When I was in college, my roommates and I would have a "Mad Dog and Grilled Cheese Night". It basically was a big party, staring the George Foreman Grill, and a lot of Mad Dog.

The next day ALWAYS hurt.

Skunk Boy, they HAD George Foreman Grill's when you were in college? Boy, you really are young!

When I went to school we weren't even allowed microwaves because they took so much power they would black out the dorms!

I guess I must be older because all we could have were "hot pots" or the electric popcorn poppers. You could only buy commercial grade microwaves at that time.

I do remember the Strawberry Boone's Farm. We used to have a drink prior to our Friday morning chem-physics class.

Those are the microwaves I'm talking about! LOL I had one and if I didn't turn off the stereo, my lights, and make sure everyone on my wing had their lights out before I used it, fuses would blow and the entire dorm would go dark.... There's a reason I only lived in the dorm one semester
