Does anyone out there have an E-Banking Policy? We had the S&S examiners remind us in June that we needed one and hey, whaddyaknow, the compliance examiners are coming this month! I didn't see one in Bankers Tools and creating one sounds about as much fun as getting a root canal w/o anesthesia. (Andy, I know you must have a good one) We are a state non-member bank and we have the FDIC e-banking section of the compliance exam manual (looks like even more fun) to start with, so any more guidance would be appreciated.

Andy, I just got the policies you e-mailed me-thank you so much!! I had just told someone I was about to e-mail you directly because I was not getting any response on the the thread. Kinda silly watching all the views happening and not seeing any replies. All you guru guys have a great weekend!

I am in desperate need of an E-banking policy myself. I see that you had some luck finding one earlier in the year. Could you steer me in the right direction?
Thanks!

Jen, send me an e-mail address.

Should Andy post an Internet Banking policy template on his personal site?

Honestly, demand was minimal so I'd send an unedited version. Since the demand is minimal, but consistent, I'll try to do some editing and post it on my Web site this weekend. BOL can link to it as they have my others.

Your IT goons need to lighten up on restricting the use of business resource sites.

IT "goons," Richard? Down, boy! They'll start calling us "Compliance Geeks"!

What's that? They do that already? Oh.

I can't explain it. There is nothing most reasonable people would consider offensive. I'd appreciate it if you ask your IT folks why, and let me know.

It's because they found it's easier to block everything and avoid thinking.

Maybe they think compliance is a four letter word.

FYI, the policy was posted earlier today. There is Internet Banking and its associated Risk Management Policy in one downloadable file.

Hopefully you'll be able to get in. I assure you I have nothing about adding 3 inches to your policy book nor that you can earn $10,000 per week at home stuffing compliance envelopes.

Andy - I saw your Internet Banking Policy earlier today, but did not see an E-banking policy. Am I not looking in the right place?

I am not sure what you are after. I have three related policies, Acceptable Use, Internet Banking and Internet Banking Risk Management. I don't have anything else.

Thank you Mary Beth. That means a lot coming from you. (Achoo)

I say that if I ever met the Pope, I'd be sure to sneeze. If he says God bless you, it means something.

But if the Pope sneezes, would it be appropriate to bless him?
