kaybee - Have you tried Neck & Neck; it's Mark Knopfler & Chet Atkins, and it's a gem.
Saw Eric Clapton once with Mark Knopfler playing backup (?!) - what a show. Also, EC with Phil Collins playing drums, & Robert Cray as opening act.
Check out "Finger Pickers Take Over the World." I think that is the name of the album that Tommy Emmanuel and Chet Atkins recorded. I saw Tommy live the same day I first heard of him and he was amazing. I have not heard anything recorded that comes close to reflecting his stage show. It was amazing.

The other CD is Steely Dan Aja. Ah, the '70's; a previously underrated era in music that is finally getting its due. Yes, there was a lot of schlock in the top 40, but those who wrote it off are now eating their words. And much of the music that made the 70s great never made a dent in the top 40.
