I live in Southern Illinois and we got 20" of snow in the last two days. This is the first time I have been to work since Tuesday. Just thought I would share.

Yeah, I hear that they even shut down Wal-Mart and the mall in Carbondale. Must be pretty bad!

Yes I had all of my shopping done. But instead of enjoying the 2 "snow" days I had, I shoveled the driveway twice just to be able to get to the bank today.

Big Brother knows and that's a...
We got hammered last year on Christmas (upstate NY). I woke up on Christmas morning and it was a bright as can be, by 12pm we had 4 inches of snow. By 8 we had over a foot! Talk about having a WHITE CHRISTMAS.

This year we don't have anything. :-( Something WOULD be nice.

I live in South Mississippi and we got snow on Christmas day. It has been 50 years since it snowed on Christmas and 6 years since it snowed.

We didn't get it on Christmas but yesterday and today we are getting it. It looks to be total accumulation of 12 inches.

There are less people at work today than on Friday.

Between Here and There
We haven't had it snow here in 25+ years, but on Christmas Eve it snowed!! It started after I got out of work on Friday and snowed until early the next morning. I have never seen it snow here (I'm 25) so this was just a strange but welcomed sight to me, and of all days for it to snow it happened on Christmas Eve. This was more then enough gift for me I hope everyone else had a great Christmas

We got 3 inches of rain between Christmas and yesterday...wet, cold...nasty! If it had to be THAT cold...I sure wish we could have at least had a little of it snow?!? Oh well..warmer days ahead..thankfully. Maybe too warm...looks like near 80 by the weekend? Good Grief.

I wanted a white Christmas, but I'm glad it's supposed to warm up this week and get rid of the 18 inches we have on the ground

Officially 4.5 inches (I think it may have been a little more) in Galveston on Christmas eve. First snow since 1989, first white Christmas recorded by the NWS in history, largest snowfall in the last 110 years, 3rd largest snowfall ever recorded.

My grandkids that have never witnessed the stuff before had a great time - never thought I would get to build a snowman with them on Christmas morning. A great time was had by all!!

Woke up Christmas morning in the Western Suburbs of Chicago to snow!!! Not much, just enough to make it diffcult for my husband to get to Chicago to pick up our older son and his wife. He slid thru a major light and nearly off the onramp for the highway!! Was pretty though, big fat flakes. It also warmed up some, maybe to 20 rather than 9!!!

We had snow on Christmas day in Louisiana, but no real accumulation. No one in my family can remember ever having snow on Christmas day, so it's been over 70 years. One of these days, I would like to see some real snow.
