What methods are used in destroying old video surveillance tapes? Bonfire anyone? Thanks for any input!

I use an electromagnetic eraser. It works on floppies and hard drives, too.

Our tapes are sent to be shredded or whatever they do with them when they get them.

Thanks for the info... just spoke with the person who picks up our to be shredded materails and he said they can incinerate tapes,disks,etc. for us.
