I am at a holding company of approximately 1.3 million involving three banks. There is discrepancy with the three banks of what their capitalization policy is. One bank says thier threshhold is $500 and the other two are $2,500. We are working on a consolidated fixed asset policy. I am wondering what other banks policy is. If you could identify your threshhold and your bank size for comparison, I would really appreciate it.

I think that you might want to ask this of your external accounting (CPA) firm for a recommendation. There are usually different limits set for different types of assets.
