Ok, here we go!

The object of Red Hatters is to have fun. That part I think we've got nailed. I'm not sure about registering or any of the rest.

Let's start by getting our virtual red hats out to show each other.

My winter red hat if soft fleece. Need it to keep warm on days like today when we're getting a foot+ of snow! I have purple gloves to wear with it!

My red hat is a red straw hat with a wide brim, sometimes called a picture hat. It is trimmed with purple flowers around the crown that match the purple pants and top that I wear with it. When it is cold, I will wear a purple scarf with the red hat on top. (What a visual!! )

Mine is a pink crash helmet.

Well, what else did y'all expect???

But of course... silly.

Guess I am going to have to go shopping. Need a pink hat! I have a purple and red magic scarf that I got for Christmas to wear with it though!

I'm going shopping tomorrow, I guess I'll be looking for a pink hat and some purple gloves!

My red had has a black face mask, a black stripe down the middle with two white stripes on each side of it. A gamecock logo on each side inside a white circle background. My hat is more of a garnet color than red though

I have a new pink #7 Ben R (Steelers) hat but since I'm over 50 I guess I'll have to go buy a red hat!!! Maybe not tonight since we have 7 inches of snow but I'll have one by Monday!!! If anyone is going to compliance school or grad school in Atlanta in April, we can have a get-together!!

I have a few more years to go to reach 50, but I absolutely refuse to wear PINK!

I am over 50. I attended one meeting. (I think I am now a member?) It was very fun, but there is something about me that prohibits me from donning red and purple apparel and going out in public. (Perhaps I shall remain in the closet for a bit.) I do love the rules - THERE ARE NO RULES.

I don't have a pink hat either. I guess now I have an excuse to go shopping this week-end (like I needed an excuse ).

I have my red hat, I need to get a purple scarf to replace my burgandy one.

Hey, I am suppose to go to Grad school in April..Of course I just live down the road in GA. I am one of the "Red Hat" people!!!

I HATE the red hats! I'm an old lady and have a very good life. I don't need a red hat & purple dress to prove I'm an old lady. (My wrinkles, knee high stockings, flat heeled shoes, & knit pants with elastic waist are not uniform enough?) Joining the red hat society is like saying "I'm 50+ & don't have a life so I need to gather with a bunch of other 50+ woman that don't have a life either & will pretend were having a hoot."

I feel better. Thanks for letting me vent. Yup, this is one old lady that will not be wearing a red hat with her purple dress.
