I was reading the FDIC's audit program and it discussed identifying "usual activity" for customers. Are other Bank's doing this. Is it being documented (the "expected activity").

I am aware of several differing methods of obtaining this information. I have spoken with several consultants that strongly encourage some level of account 'profiling' at time of opening. We have incorporated & document this information with the account risk-rating process.
