Yeah - god help us all - it includes the credit card information for some Senators and Representatives. I see new legislation within 60 days - be prepared!

And to think they were asking to have hearings on customer information issues because of ChoicePoint, and this happens. Unbelievable. But look at the bright side, none of us were shipping those tapes.

I was there and worked with some of the people at BofA that got the original contract and they about turned inside out with glee - they are most likely turning inside out for other reasons right now.

It appeared to me that Paris had already "published" every single piece of personal information she had.

It's worth noting that B of A fessed up immediately, even though there is no indication that the information has fallen into the wrong hands. I think that's more than the proposed guidance on security breaches would have suggested was necessary. Where is the final version anyway?

Ken, didn't anyone ever teach you to be careful about what you wish for?

I think Riggs had a pretty bad day last Friday, I think it was.... another $8MM in fines and 2 Directors hit personally.

Riggs Bank: "a U.S. bank that ran into serious trouble for helping foreign officials hide money has agreed to settle a Spanish lawsuit by paying $8 million into a fund for victims of crimes by its former client, Chilean ex-dictator Augusto Pinochet, the bank said on Friday."
