When selling a Cashier's Check do you look for the remitter AND the payee on OFAC or just the remitter? Also, what about wire transfers? Do you check both parties on wires you send and both parties on wires you receive or just the sender or receiver involving your bank?

The consensus on wires is that you check everything. Prior thread. On official check sales, if you only sell to customers, it is the payee that represents the greatest measurable risk. (Presumably, you checked customers when the account was opened and periodically thereafter with "full file" comparisons.)
