I went to a German Bierfest over the summer and guzzled some German beers. I couldn't even walk to my car (BTW - I WASN'T driving!), and when I got home, it was a very sad scene. And to top it all off, I got up the next morning at 5AM to go kayaking 14 miles. Luckily, I didn't have a hangover because I'd emptied my stomach that night! Note to Self: Stay far away from German beer!!!

rarely will I drink a domestic...just not that good. Budweiser...headache after one, no thanks (and my son works for them during school break...)

Last night it was Bud Light (too many), and now I have to work this morning... I am feeling it now! OHHH the pain!

Coors light gives me a hangover without giving me a buzz. Halfway through the first bottle, my head is killing me. Bud Light is my standby if they don't have either Michelob Light or Ultra or Corona. Now, if you want to talk German beer: Warsteiner isn't bad, but I spent three years there and the best was Keiler Weizen. We called it Pig Bear because there was a picture of a boar on the label. The bottles were flip top cork things and we returned them for a deposit. Schoefferhoeffer (may be two words) was the best for getting both Hefe and Crystal. HefeWeizen is my all time favorite if I'm wanting to sit around and just enjoy my beer. Honestly, I'm nowhere near a beer snob. When I have my Corona w/ lime or my Ultra, it's setting on the table nearest the pool table and isn't nearly as important as a break and run. LOL.

Does anyone remember a few years back when Miller had a red label beer? It was in the mid 90's. It was actually really good, but it was only around for a short time. I would like to know what happened to it. Maybe it was being test marketed. Who knows?

When I am in the states it's Amstel Light, when I am home in Dingle Ireland it's "Murphy's Stout" thus the name "Murphysgirl." Yes, I know quite a difference but American beer gives me a headache. Amstel does not not matter how much of it I drink and I have been known to tip a few pints now and again.
