What *must* you have at the movie theater?

If I have money I must have popcorn. If I'm broke, I can always smuggle in m&m's.

EGB, I only see movies in theaters when my son just "has" to see a new release (they are just too darn loud). So, it's usually his pick: those sour gummy thingys.

Buttered popcorn with peanut m&m's mixed in. I haven't had this since I was a kid (haven't been to a movie in 5 years so it was the first thing that I could remember).

Mmmmm...I think I'm going to be breaking the diet tonight!

DOTS!!! I love these things. I used to eat them all the time, even when I had braces.

I also love Twizzlers.

I know what you mean, but they're so delicious that I can't resist. I don't eat the yellow ones, though.

OK, I'll bite, why not the yellow? Because it looks funnier in your teeth?

I was once informed by a friend who worked at a movie theater that I didn't want their butter on my popcorn. Let's just say the handling of the butter was less than hygienic. Maybe it was just that particular theater, but I have not allowed a movie theater to put butter on my popcorn since.

Popcorn and a drink. There's nothing quite like movie theater popcorn!

When I was a kid I liked goobers

Thanks, Z - I don't think I wanted to know that. Ignorance really can be bliss!

Happygilmore – you’re a nut (but it was funny). But wait! That could be one of the episodes for those stupid reality shows (i.e., Fear Factor or what ever). Who can eat the most off the floor and stuck to the bottom of chairs in a movie theater! Tune in tonight….

Mmmm, Mmmmm good. (While I retch in the corner….)

No, in this case, ignorance can be botulism.

Z I worked at a movie theatre and the butter was fine. I wouldn't eat the candy boxes at the start of the season though because we often found rats nests in them.

At a regular theatre I love popcorn with butter but only if it's real butter. And twizzlers (red) because they make great straws for the required diet Pepsi.

At one of our local theatres we have a sit down menu. You go to the theatre early and can order from the pizza (hand tossed, finest ingredients) or the mexican food, which is wonderful. I always like pizza and a bottle of wine Yup...you can have wine and beer. Then you sit at your table (all on tiers so you can see) and eat your yummies while watching the movie.

I think I'll see a movie tonight!

I've been to a few places like that. One is called the Cinema Grill Cafe.
